The first race for The Mighty Forth without either myself or Paul running saw an incredible overall performance from Daniel Brewer and a very solid and consistent drive from new team mate Rory Collins. Daniel was impressive all evening, but an unfortunate incident with backmarker Ben Willis near the end dented any hopes he had of a top step on the podium. He still managed to bring the car home in a terrific 5th place, a new record for our fledgling team. The commentary team gave him driver of the day and it was very well deserved. Rory fought through the normal carnage that seems to blight this championship and took a strong 13th place in the end to give him and the team a good haul of points. A good consistent drive that I can completely relate to! The team has now moved up to 6th place in the standings and I look forward to seeing what happens over the second half of the season.
