It was a case of mixed fortunes for the team in Rounds 1 and 2 of the Race Department Touring Car Championship at Cascavel on Saturday evening. For once, admin and server issues caused more problems than the on track melee, but it still made for a highly entertaining and pulsating spectacle. Paul (15th, 6th) had the best of the evening with two very strong results which propels him to 8th in the drivers championship, while Mark (21st, 10th) had a fantastic run in race 2, but unfortunately fell down the order to 10th by the end. I had a promsing evening (18th, 22nd), especially in race 2, running as high as 9th at one point, but two bumps from behind knocked me back to the rear of the field. Jonathan, racing in server 2 (23rd, 21st) also had a torrid time of things, but on a more positive note, The Mighty Forth are currently sitting 3rd equal in the teams championship and TMF are in 13th. Hopefully Paul and Mark can keep up their good pace and myself and Jonathan can have a bit more luck in the next race!
